God saved the day for shai again!

was given the task of planning for the entire retreat...n as usual (not tt i'm very proud of it), shai missed out on some details that are crucial...but thank God He sent ah gal to help me realise that though i've planned out the games to play together w my games comm pple, i've not planned the flow of the games n the chairing n everything!...

while planning the flow, i got stucked at some points, thinking that the flow is not very good...den God sent reginaaaaaaaa to help me...n coz of the game that regina suggested, she offered to meet me n my games comm earlier...so in e end, i got myself a very capable assistant!...think if regina wasn't dere in the morning to encourage me, i'd have panicked big time when i saw that the time is running like mad n we r behind time already!...:)

in the end, the retreat went well...n everybody had much fun!...really thank God for this blessing! :)

a story...

once, dere was a prisoner who has committed an unpardonable crime...so he was thrown into prison...
he wasn't given any food or drink...e prison was dark n damp...his only friends r cockroaches, lizards, ants n watever crawling things u can imagine on e wall...yet he was so hungry, he decided to squash e next cockroach tt crawl pass him...
den 1 day, e king ordered for him to b brought b4 him...at the throne, e king told e prisoner, "i've paid e price for u le...u r free!..."...n best of all, e king continued, "n i've reserved a seat for u in my kingdom...this is e role tt i've specially set for u...u can come n work w me..."

can u imagine how privileged e prisoner muz have felt?...from some1 who needs to squash cockroaches for meals to some1 who is looked upon so highly by e king!...wat a great jump it is!...

similarly...

b4 we come to know God, we r all in chains...bounded by our own insecurities, emotions tt we don know how to handle, seemingly hopeless situations, etc etc...but God came in n said, "i've paid e price for u le...n i've set a place in my kingdom specially for u..."
